Seliah - Existing Web Applications Like ARTY: West Cork Crafts

 West Cork Crafts (WCC) is another example of an existing Web Application services similar to ARTY. Like CCD, West Cork Crafts also sell local crafts from Cork-based artisans.

Features that I liked about WCC:

• There is a section on the local artisans to introduce themselves. I believe having this section allows for the sellers to express themselves and briefly describe what they do and also allows for both the buyers and the sellers to be closer. See screenshot below for an example.

• Not only that but each sellers also include the links to their other platforms such as Etsy and Facebook/Facebook Marketplace to further showcase their work.
• Has a variety of 'Shop By' filters which allows the buyers to customise their shopping experience.

• Shop by members - perhaps the buyer has a favorite craftsman they want to buy their lcoal crafts from
• Shop by category - for buyers who knows what they want to buy.
• Shop by newest products - for buyers who wants to see what's new or the latest trends.
• Shop by price - I think this is a charm because in general, local crafts can be really expensive so being able to filter the price range to the buyers budget helps to be really inclusive and allows for buyers to buy crafts that are within their price range whilst retaining top-tier quality.
• WCC ships within Ireland and Globally.
• Both WCC and CCD have an online chat that users can interact with if they queries.
